JARDINS DANS LE CIEL.

As a child I was always up
some tree building a look-out, den or simply perching and enjoying the superiority my location afforded me.

The need for a place of my own where I could day dream to my heart's content had stayed with me since those early days and I've always been a little envious of anyone who was fortunate enough to have a roof garden.

Can you blame me?

Not being rude.

Dear friends,
I just wanted to let you know that I'm having a really frustrating time blogging.
For the past year I have only been able to post from my mobile phone. I'm also unable to publish or reply to all your lovely comments. Please bear with me while I try to figure out how exactly I've messed up here.
I do appreciate all your comments so please don't stop posting just remember, I will reply as soon as I sort things out.

THANK YOU .

Going once, going twice...

I had plans of a lovely lie-in on a beautiful Saturday morning, thumbing through my new indulgence LIVING LIFE BEAUTIFULLY.

While checking my emails the night before, one in particular cought my eye and I knew that my relaxing plan was not to be.
So, as the clock struck 6 and the sun began to peak over the Cotswold hills, I was en route to what promised to be a fabulous sale.
The weather was wonderful,
the venue amazing, and my spirits were soaring.
Looking though the first barn I felt like a child in a sweet shop.

It's not often you find yourself surrounded by traditional, deceptive and quirky alike.

The auction was positively steaming with excitement and the auctioneer didn't let any potential cash cow have too much time to think before their money was hammered away within seconds.

It was a very long and interesting day but my hopes of getting home and putting my feet up were the second plan doomed to failure; I remembered our invitation to a wine tasting evening that night.
No rest for the wicked.
