Going once, going twice...

I had plans of a lovely lie-in on a beautiful Saturday morning, thumbing through my new indulgence LIVING LIFE BEAUTIFULLY.

While checking my emails the night before, one in particular cought my eye and I knew that my relaxing plan was not to be.
So, as the clock struck 6 and the sun began to peak over the Cotswold hills, I was en route to what promised to be a fabulous sale.
The weather was wonderful,
the venue amazing, and my spirits were soaring.
Looking though the first barn I felt like a child in a sweet shop.

It's not often you find yourself surrounded by traditional, deceptive and quirky alike.

The auction was positively steaming with excitement and the auctioneer didn't let any potential cash cow have too much time to think before their money was hammered away within seconds.

It was a very long and interesting day but my hopes of getting home and putting my feet up were the second plan doomed to failure; I remembered our invitation to a wine tasting evening that night.
No rest for the wicked.
