Some of my favourite moments are when, while clearing/decluttering an area, you come across those lovely things you put away for safe keeping. As they reappear its like Christmas time again.
This was the case with this gorgeous antique Villeroy and Boch coffee set.I love the delicate patern on it and the details in the cups are wonderful.
Monogrammes and broderies emerged from the depths of old boxes,
and bits of fabulous vintage 'bling' saw some daylight too.
This 1950's fabric cushion made me smile.I bought it in Wells,Somerset, about 6 years ago. I forgot just how cheerful it is.
There were lots more things which popped back on the scene but I won't bore you too much so I'll end with these lovely Victorian apothecary bottles. The variations in the green glass makes these truly eye-catching,especially when filled with a single stem flower. Try it!
I hope you've enjoyed my 'rediscoveries'
and feel inspired to have a good old rummage through your own forgotten places.
Looking forward to reading about your treasures.
See you soon :)

This post is like looking into a mirror . . . all the things posted here are some of my favorite things too. I collect blue and white vintage china, but about a year ago I decided to get them out of there safe cabinet and put them in the kitchen and use them. Who knows how many more days we have. I'm going treat each day as a special day from now on. Also, your chair with the polka dots and the cabbage rose pillow. I love these. The vintage bottles . . . very thing is so charming . . . I think that we have much in common.
I do hope that you will come visit me in my little corner of blog-land and that you may decide to follow my little journey.

Your newest follower, Connie :)

Joasia,
You are not going to believe this, but I have been looking for a perfect diamond vintage brooch to go with my dress for Nel's wedding, and I have not found one yet. I love this one, it's so pretty. The blue tea cups are beautiful too. For some reason, the prettiest tea cups to me are the blue ones. My wedding china is even in blue. These are lovely treasures. You have good taste, my friend.

Hi Joasia, It was so good to see you and I am delighted that you are now following my blog. The sharing of creative ideas between blogging sisters is a new adventure to me. I've only started blogging this year. Not only are there tons of thousands of marvelous ideas, but it has saved me $$ in magazine subscriptions. The ideas and tutorials that I find on blogs are so much better than any magazine was ever giving me. The personal touch of getting to know the artist and become friends through blogging is priceless. I am looking forward to getting to know you better and to enjoying your creative journey. By the way, you have a beautiful name . . . your Mom did good.
May your weekend be blessed, Connie :)
