Love is timeless.

     Love is simply wonderful.
Contrasts in all aspects bring variety and depth. Here the durable Welsh slate heart rests on a delicate and fragile antique French lace.

'L' is for ....Lavender !

"The Lovers from Hasanlu". Hasanlu is an archaeological excavation site in Iran, Western Azerbaijan, Solduz Valley. These skeletons were found in a Bin with no objects. The only feature is a stone slab under the head of the skeleton on the left hand side.
I wonder what's their story?

Blowing Off The Cobwebs.

There comes a time when enough is enough and you just have to GET OUT of the house.
So, after what seemed like weeks of viruses and fevers, we took a walk around the beautifully managed grounds of Daylesford http://www.daylesfordorganic.com

The indigenous Sage Green unites all woodwork belonging to the Daylesford estate.

The Daylesford Stables and the equine facilities are wonderful.Everything is like new and metuculously maintained.

It was so nice to see this Mummy and her energetic youngster frolicing together.

The huge bronze sculpture is a testimony to the passion and esteem that is felt for the horses  by the estate owners.

The walk ends with a lovely lunch made using organic produce grown/reared on site and a bit of retail therapy in the Daylesford shop.

I think our batteries are on the way to being recharged.
Bring on Spring :)
